The School of Interdisciplinary Area Studies and the Faculty of Oriental Studies are pleased to announce their partnership in providing a new programme of Masters courses in the areas of China, Japan and South Asia.
This partnership will provide students with an enhanced learning environment through contact with a wide range of academic experts across both departments and divisions who are committed to the study of these regions.
All three areas will offer a 12 month MSc and a 21 month MPhil option for entry from 2017.
From 2017/18, the MSc Contemporary Chinese Studies is a three-term, twelve-month course designed to provide high quality graduate research training with an emphasis on an appreciation of research methods and on deepening your understanding of contemporary China.
