Anna Lora-Wainwright's second monograph forthcoming from MIT Press

Professor Lora-Wainwright's second monograph “Resigned Activism: Living with Pollution in Rural China”, drawing on multisited fieldwork and interdisciplinary collaborations over the past decade, will be published by MIT Press in June 2017.

In February 2017, Professor Lora-Wainwright conducted fieldwork in Sichuan for her ongoing research on urbanisation, forced relocation and rural development. She also conducted interviews for her project on circuits of e-waste in China and Japan.
