Dr. Lichao Yang received her Master’s degree at Technical University of Munich in 2005 and her PhD at the Australian National University in 2012. Currently she is an associate professor at Beijing Normal University and has been a visitor in the Department of Social Policy and Intervention since January. Having studied and lived in the West for eight years and undertaken research based in China, she will share her perspectives on her personal, academic and professional life across the boundary of China and the West.
