During my academic and professional experiences I have tried to deepen my knowledge in a double field of competence: the European Union and China. On one hand, feeling strongly as a European citizen, I have studied in different European Universities so as to deal with different academic systems and perspectives. This desire was also at the basis of my choice of attending a first Masters in International Relations in Brussels; moreover, I also worked as Italian with French and Belgian foreign services dealing with international organisations and China.
I chose this Masters for its comprehensive approach on China. Indeed, while at Oxford I could focus on China's foreign policy and Economics. What I really appreciated about Oxford was the possibility of attending a lot of events and seminars on a wide range of issues and, thus, meeting world leading academics and politicians.
I think that this Masters at Oxford University was the right and best choice to start a career in my field of interest. After my Masters, I managed to obtain a Fung Scholarship to study at Peking University during the summer. Lastly, I managed to succeed for the competitive position of Blue Book Trainee at the European External Action Service in the China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Mongolia division.
