Helen Ball

Before coming to Oxford I studied for BA Cultural Studies at the University of Leeds. Coming from such a large university to the collegiate system at Oxford was quite a transition, but a very enjoyable one. The staff and resources available were second to none and I discovered that there was a large scope in the MSc course to tailor your studies towards your specific interests, enabling me to pursue my own research in Chinese art and culture. Furthermore I was able to visit Beijing to conduct research with the help of grants from both college and the SIAS department. I loved Oxford as a place to both live and study.

I am currently pursuing a career in Media.
