I am a doctoral candidate in Area Studies (China) at Merton College, University of Oxford. My project examines the evolution of US political debate regarding Chinese high-tech investment from 2007 to 2017. Prior to graduate school, I worked in the Global Markets division at Citigroup, focusing specifically on Asian and EM equities. My interest in China builds on five years of residence in Shanghai from 2005 to 2010. Beyond US-China investment relations, I maintain secondary research interests in computational social sciences, US partisan politics, and diplomacy. I hold a BA (Honors) in Political Science from Stanford University and an MSc in Social Sciences of the Internet from the University of Oxford. https://scholar.google.co.uk/citations?user=mqRw4b8AAAAJ&hl=en
