I am a DPhil student in Area Studies (China) at St. Antony’s College, University of Oxford. Adopted very interdisciplinary approaches, my research interests focus on the labor regimes of knowledge workers in Chinese technology-intensive enterprises and their implications in innovation and economic development.
Before joining OSGA, I was awarded an MSc in Political Economy of Emerging Markets from King’s College London and a B.A. with double majors in International Relations and Political Economy from Tulane University. Particularly fascinated by progressive schools of thought, I have also studied one year at School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London during my undergraduate time. I also worked at the Development Research Center (DRC) of the State Council in China, the Center for China and Globalization (CCG), and the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). At KCL, I worked on the Decolonization of Development Modules project, collaborating with the Department of International Development.
My broad research and personal interests encompass decolonization, social policies, institutional configurations, film studies, and everything related with the Third World. I have written articles about these topics for the general public since 2019.
Currently, I am the president of the Global South Film Society at St. Antony’s College.
